Steele skyrockets in FedExCup

Brendan Steele entered the week tied for 115th in FedExCup points. After his win Sunday at the Valero Texas Open? He’s now 19th with 623 points, which puts him 538 points behind leader Mark Wilson, the lone player on the PGA TOUR with two wins this season.

Charley Hoffman also made a big jump, moving from 62nd to 25th, with his tie for second, while Kevin Chappell, who also finished second, moved from 180th to 63rd.

    i love seeing the young guns win each week. it keeps knocking the cheetah down and makes it that much harder. maybe he should go to the nationwide tour where he could beat up the real young kids and the has beens. oh wait they will pound him to.
