Brandt Snedeker closed with a 64 Sunday at Harbour Town.
Brandt Snedeker shot a 7-under 64 then held off Luke Donald in a playoff to win Sunday at The Heritage. The win is the second of his career and first since 2007. Congratulate Snedeker on his victory here and we’ll pass your note along to him.

Great final round, coming out of nowhere to win. Congrats Brandt! You’re a refreshing difference from the other carbon-copy type younger players out there on tour who have little personality and little interaction with the crowd. You always acknowledge the gallery and interact, and constantly smile even when things are going wrong… something that the new breed just doesn’t do enough of.

I know you have struggled with your game and had some highs and lows since you got so close at Augusta a few years ago. I respect how you have stuck with the game and never gotten discouraged and I am so immensely happy for you today. Congratulations, Brandt. Began following your career when you won in my hometown tournament in Greensboro a few years back. You came to that tournament when no one else wanted to play in it and conducted yourself with class all week and came out with a huge win. Congratulations to Brandt Snedeker on his win. As for the person above who said that Donald talks to much with his mouth. He is one of the nicest people on tour. Gives his time to sign autographs for the kids. At Pebble Beach he was the one out there talking and signing autographs for a long time. Smiles a lot, calm and very pleasant. OH and by the way he is 2nd in the Fed-Ex Cup and 2nd in the Road to Dubai over seas. That’s something not too many players have had, even Tiger!
He just answers the questions when they are asked, and who wouldn’t be excited about being #1.

Brandt, you probably don’t remember playing three years at the Cookeville Country Club Early Bird Open hosted by Cookeville High in the late 1990s, but Michael Caldwell brought you guys down, and as coach of the Cookeville High team we always enjoyed competing against you guys and had fun doing it. Coach Caldwell and your team were always the finest of gentlemen, and the golfers on my team then as now have followed you career on the PGA. Good luck from here out, and we’re all waiting now for you to win a couple Majors–U.S. Open next.

You are one of my favorite players to watch and that tournament at Harbour Town is my favorite tournament to watch because it reminds me of being at my favorite golf course in Hilton Head because that’s where I used to be from. I hope to see you in Crooked Stick in Indiana for next years BMW Championship with Jeff Overton and Hunter Mahan. See you there!
