john daly will play very well and will by 3 strokes
Rickey Fowler is over due and will win this week by two strokes.
Brian Gay over Brian Davis in playoff.
He’s missed 2 cuts in a row. Now he’s hungry again. look out for Sneds to come from behind once more and take home the trophy.
I’m going with Bo Van Pelt. Has had at least
3 top tens here and has never missed a cut at
Colonial. Absolutely loves this course. If he’s
on his game, real good chance……..
Even though he had a bad Sat. and Sun. at the Players , I think Lucas will surprise a few folks this weekend. I think he will win bt 2 shots.
My Picks are: Chad Campbell, playing close to home and long overdue for a win, has shot 61 at Colonial in Competition!! Jeff Overton, definitely due for a win, and look what he did last year at colonial as well as the Nelson!! Finally Bo Van Pelt, pure ball striker that has always played well here!! My dark horse picks are John Rollins and Nathan Green….Really Really Pulling for Campbell to take the trophy home!!
Picks in order:
Gay, Glover, Sabbatini, Matt Jones, and Snedeker
Fowler all the way!!!!!!
Jason Day is my pick, 6th at the Players, 2nd at the Masters.
Knows Colonial well, also a member here.
David Toms, Ricky Fowler, For win Go DAVID DUVAL!
Marino & Dufner in playoff.
Marino wins FINALLY!!!!
Someone will shoot 59 this week????
Ben Curtis may be the surprise winner..Focus,and get rid of those bad holes..
Ben we will play sometime.
Day, Sabbatini,Van Pelt
I like Anthony Kim this week, as long as he doesn’t party too much.
Go Ryuji Go.
Anyone but Jiga Boo Woods. Any tourney. Any day of the week.
1. Jason Day
2. Ben Crane
3. Zach Johnson
4. David Toms
5. Hunter Mahan
Hey EddyL Why don’t you keep your racial garbage to yourself / jerk
LUKE & BADDS!
NOT
a good week
for the Bombers,
precision & putting….
Adam Scott. Good week and the Masters, and a little disappointment at the Players. He due another good week.
watch out for marc leichman..solid player..due for a win…slick rick is always there..and i like the reports pick in sergio this week…just gotta play 4 not 3 rounds of golf out there
Can’t believe that none of the so-called ~experts~ have picked Jason Day, not even as a sleeper. He lives in Fort Worth, is a member at Colonial and is playing great golf.
Marino, Dufner and Fowler are great picks…..Maybe itstime for a mistake free Mark Wilson to take charge !!!
Snedeker and Sabbatini are also interesting……Naah, “hangin’ with Wilson.
Sabbatini over Crane and Z.Johnson
Zach is back :)
Jason Day-playing great-knows the course-sleeping in his own bed.
Sleeper is Kenny Perry. Not playing great lately but this is by far his fav. course on tour and a few years ago dominated this track for a few years. 50 year old at 128-1 is a nice play here.
lets go with Brendon deJonge. Should be a birdie battle all week.
My pics are: Ángel Cabrera, Andrés Romero and Sergio García.
My Top 8 are : Sergio Garcia, Hunter Mahan. Matt Kuchar, Zach Johnson, Rory Sabbatini. Spencer Levin, Steven Bowditch and Jarrod Lyle.
Cabrera..the guy is flat out money and is due for another trophy.
J.B. Holmes. Good intensity. Maybe Matt Kuchar.
jason day or adam scott. the sleeper pick of Greg chalmers will be worth watching
Steve Marino wins! Enough said!
KEVIN NA will win playing well at moment BIG SLEEPER tim herron past winner play ok at moment
got to keep the faith and follow zack johnson again played well here last couple of years.
j bohn is perhaps a value outsider to give us a good run in this event as well
Andrés Romero, Adam Scott
Rickey Fowler
Sabbatini, dark horse Immelman who has been playing better and better every week.
Jason Dufner. He is on his way.
Sergio Garcia
Snedeker all the way.
Sean O’Hair. After five consecutive missed cuts, he finally seems to be headed back to his normal game. Father-in-law as his caddie once again, could revive performances of 2005-2009. Too good a ball-striker to not be in contention every week.
Tommy Gainey
Rickey Fowler
JB Holmes
davis love is going to win this week ,because he is feeling better and he is the greatest.
Corey Pavin
Derek Lamely out of nowhere
My long, longshot is T.Herron.But a more realistic choice is J.B.Holmes.Had a great showing at the Players and is playing well right now.
Rainy condition with slow greens and Rain delays will effect this tournament.
My picks are Gay, Day, Toms and Mahan
I just think Anthony Kim is du to make a splash this week…
I don’t know why… just a strong impression
Its only a matter of time, but DD will finally put all the pieces together. If he hits fairways early, he can win this…..Go Duval!!!

Watch out for the little gritty Texan by the name of Mark Brooks. Knows the course and usually plays well here.
SERGIO
SERG!!!
USOpen@ChambersBay, you know neither Donald or Baddely are playing? They will play in Spain this week.
Ben Crane Zach Johnston Jason Day Brian Gay
1- martin pillar
2- john cook
SERGIO …. to recoup a few quid i’ve lost on him over the years
There is no player more consistent at the moment than DUFNER! He is bound to be thereabouts come Sunday.
Marino’s mob out in force at Colonial, rip it up Steve :-)
Jason Day has got the game and demeanor to win consistently on the PGA tour. I followed him for a few holes during his rookie debut at Colonial as a sponsor’s exemption and he got a lot of mistakes out of the way! He won last year at The Nelson and it would be huge for him to win at
Ben Hogan’s place. Great player and a great young man. Play well JD!
it’s going to be Jasons Day …..
I am hoping for a Mike Weir comeback.
Or at least make the cut.
Can’t believe nobody has mentioned Stewart Cink.Great wind player(09 open champ)and out of 13 appearences here has never missed the cut,has a 2nd and 4th place finish here also.9th at Quail Hollow and 19th last week show his swing changes are coming to fruition.See more here http://kdevo1.blogspot.com
look for Ryan Palmer to get the win playing in home area
Marc Leishman,is ready to win despite his 2 bad rounds last week at the PLAYERS…He will chew this course alive in birdies if he hits the fairway…big chance
JASON DAY
his time to shine
Jason day i’m amazed he’s not even picked as a sleeper, he’s benn playing great golf and is a member here.
If my comment is “awaiting moderation,” how on earth is EddyL’s “jiggaboo” comment from 8:33 pm still posted…?
Kenny Perry wins by 10 strokes!
Matt Kuchar in a runaway!
David M
I think we think alike I agree Jason Day should be up there again with Mark Leishman as my sleeper
Martin Laird to win by 3
1-Steve Marino
2-Martin Laird
3-Tom Lehman
4-Jason Day
5-Stewart Cink
look out for matt kuchar and molder and tringale
My top picks
1. Jim Furyk – overdue
2. Zach Johnson – experience here
Sleeper:
David Duval – sentimental
Hope he keeps the driver in his bag
THANKS for the update NIKLAS,
Lets keep a sharp eye
on $Chad Campbell$
in that case,
He’s got more game than Hasbro
and Loves Tehas…
David Duval finally puts it all together
I have a feeling that this is David Duval’s come back win.
My top picks
1. Rory Sabbatini – plays good in the wind, has won here before
2. Jason Day – His home course, also plays good in the wind
3. Zach Johnson – Won last year but has the game to contend with the windy conditions
Jason Day – Robert Allenby – Greg Chalmers
they should be all up near the top this week
well hoping
Another rookie by the name of Chappell wins!
Dustin Johnson wins Joey needs a check.
Nick Watney and or KJ CHoi
It ias their time.
