It took 355 starts, but Harrison Frazar finally got his first career victory Sunday, beating Robert Karlsson on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff. Send him a note of congratulations here and we’ll pass it along.

Harrison,
Congratulations on a great win. I have been a fan of your for a number of years after watching you play in the Texas Open and having the opportunity to follow you with your lovely wife and father in law. After watching you play, I knew you were good enough to win on tour and now you have done it! Good luck with the remainder of the season. Hey,you’re my pre tourney pick for next year’s Master!!
Nice going Harrison….See never give up on your Dream…..When you least expect it ….
Good job Harrison. Hope you get many more. Congrats. to LaBau
That was a gutsy performance. Good job shaking off the error on the approach to 18 and getting up and down, then playing solid golf in the playoff. You deserved that win. Good luck at Congressional and Augusta next April.
Harrison, a great victory, well deserved! Fortitude and perseverance do indeed pay dividends. Best wishes for an excellent Masters performance.

You are an inspiration, Harrison, and with this win under your belt your future into your forties will be a smooth walk ..
There is a posting above from a Tom Wagner – the same name as a very nice man I know from the west coast of Florida – Hi Tom …
My son attended UT. I just drove home from Washington D.C. I made my wife listen to the PGA Network for the entire trip and would not leave the car until the playoff was over. You are a classy guy, who loves his family! May this jumpstart your career. I am truly happy for you! Hook em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats. Way to persevere.
Great win-a long way from Fairway Oaks in Abilene.

Congratulations on your first win! We were really pulling for you and you made my heart sink on the approach to 18 but thankfully, you were able to put that behind you and get your first “W”! :) Hope that you remain injury-free and that you’re able to find the right balance between family and golf. We sure enjoy watching you play!! And, my boyfriend wanted me to add that you’re “sneaky long” :)
Great to see you win Harrison and the way you bounced back for your first tour win after dunking it in the drink on the 72nd hole then you should take as much inspiration from that than that of the hip injury that you sustained.
Landed myself a nice bet in the process with nice odds of 250/1 to which i’ll be making a donation to the Donna Louise Trust which is a local charity hospice in Great Britain that look aftder terminally ill children and their families and to which it’s a hospice that one of my own children attends.
Keep up the great work in all that you do and once again well done.
All the best.
Mr. Frazar –
Congratulations. If you don’t dream it, it can’t happen…and it sure is hard to predict when dreams become a reality, isn’t it.
Nice work.
Sincerely,
Jim Libby
Never say never! Now go win at Congressional!
great, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! see u in maui!!!!
Hey Harrison,
I’ve been a fan of golf and the PGA tour for many years. I’ve watched you over the years, seen a couple of your seconds, and always hoped I’d see ya back in the position again. To see someone persevere after so many years is the best as a Fan. This validates the purpose of being a Pro golfer, as I understand the sacrifices you all make. Most Pro golfers never ever win. You are a PGA TOUR CHAMPION. I look forward to watching you the rest of the year, and especially at next year’s MASTERS!
Congrats on the victory!
Kevin Morissette

Thanks for your kindness during a practice round at the Honda two years ago when you apologized for the boorish behavior of a young phenom who disrespected me and the game of golf.
I’ve been rooting for you ever since and hope you get back to the winner’s circle more often.
Well done, well earned!
Lets not another 355 rounds of golf go by before the next win :)

Mr. Frazar,
I remember how well you played in the 1998 Colonial, finishing just behind champion Tom Watson that year. Congratulations on earning your first career victory.
Harrison,

Congrats Harrison!! I played with you in a practice round out in Columbus last year at the U.S. Open qualifier with Stuart Appleby. Just wanted to say congrats and it couldn’t of happen to a nicer guy!
Every golfer out there should admire all your hard work and years of keeping your eye on the prize. A PGA tour Victory. Just remember that there are millions and millions of golfers that can never say for one week I was the best in the world. Congratulations.
Congratulations Mr. Frazar! Glad to see you got a win on the big show! I have been following you since my Dad and I followed you around a couple days during the Miami Valley Open tournament in Dayton, Ohio. We have been talking about your close calls, and are happy to finally see the trophy handed to you. We appreciated your very sincere personality those days we watched you on the Nike Tour stop, and really liked how long you hit the ball even back then! Keep it up, hopefully see you at the Masters…if I can get tickets! Good luck the rest of the year.
First – Congratulations!!!
Second – you have gone the extra mile others would not have – there must be a special award
But you handled the pressure very well and I could see that barring luck getting in the way you were certain to prevail in the playoff.
Way to stay cool.
Here’s to your next
Played with him on monday. Great guy. Well deserving of this win. Enjoy this one with your boys! Congrats Harrison! go get um in the open!
A very inspiring story!! Congratulations Harrison. I have watched your progress for the past three years after reading about your battles and the family you leave behind each time you jump on the plane. Even though I do not know you personally, Im so happy for your success!!! Enjoy it immensely with your family and friends.
CONGRATS HF! Much deserved victory and look forward to seeing more positive results!
From your Texas Tech friends from the Callaway a couple years ago!
Harrison, you pulled it off. Now you can keep on playing as well. You were first in putting all week. Your short game was magnificent. Even though you hit the water on 18, you pulled off a beautiful bogey. You are my hero!
Awsome run in Memphis, Harrison! We saw you play on Memorial Day at the Patriot Cup, in fact you gave an autograph for my sons…what a thrill for them and so nice of you to take the time to play in such a worthy tournament.
But today it was my husband who was incredibly thrilled when he saw you’d won in Memphis. My house is all about HF!
Best of luck to you in the Open.
Way to go, Harrison. We are sooo happy and proud for you, Alison, and your boys! Perseverance rewarded is so exciting to watch! Good luck in the Open…
Blessings,
the newtons
Dear Harrison, I have followed your efforts from your first tournament with my son Eric on the “bag” in Colorado til this happy day today. You have always exhibited class and grace, one of the good guys. Enjoy this, and the benefits it brings. Eric would have been real happy today.
Michael Andrew
Congratulations!
I knew you would win on Saturday during your interview after round three when they told you that Robert only had a 2 shot lead when he was playing 18 and you said “oh really only 2 shots”. You knew then that it was possible and that was all you needed.
Great lag put on the 11th in the playoff. That is what wins tournaments.
Harrison,
What a GREAT WIN!!! Thank you for playing this event …It was Your Time to Win .. All those years of hard work paid off…. We are so proud of You !!! Have Fun From Now Till You Retire????
You are a True Champion!!!! Never Say Die….We love Your dedication And Also Belive Anything Is Possible…You Have Proven It!!!
Congrats!!! from John and Gail
Wow, what a golfing “feel good story” your victory is!!! Perserverance, effort and dedication all have their rewards!! Your win kinda reminds me of Bob Eastwood’s win in New Orleans years ago. And you also remind me so much of Tom Purtzer when he played on the PGA Tour. Enjoy the win! Continued best wishes! Denny from Indiana
Fantastic mental strength Harry , great up and down after the splash !
Well done , well deserved
Irish PGA (Couch Potato) Fan
Harrison,
It must be a great day in your house today! You’re going to Augusta!.
My wife came down to the family room when I was screaming ‘No!’ after you rinsed the approach on 18… she then stayed and watched all the playoff holes with me. You were amazingly clutch – I think its the first of many good things for you and your family.
All the nest,
Greg
Congrats Harrison, long wait, have fun in Georgia next April, couldn’t be happier for ya.
Well done on the win and the big payday. I’m reading the reports here in Ireland and it is heartwarming. Keep the run going.
Congratulations Harrison. I met you on a tee at the Patriot Cup in Tulsa last month and I was with you as you hit out of a bunker way back in Florence, SC on TGC. I’ve been watching your hard work for years and it’s great see you win in Memphis. Hard work does pay off. Enjoy the win Harrison and many, many more.
Cheers !!!
Although it was fun to watch Tiger Woods win so many tournaments, it’s better to see an underdog win. Most of the guys on the tour now have a chance to win. That’s so much better than the same guy winning every week. I bet your kids are happy for you. That will give them incentive to work hard at anything they do in life. It shows with hard work, you too can have winning streaks. I hope you keep on winning. It’s again nice to see other people win for a change
Congrats Harrison!!! Met you 5 years ago at Hilton Head when I was caddying for JL during the practice round you 2 played together. You were super nice to me, and this win couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy on Tour. Congrats again, and good luck this week in the US Open!
Harrison,
Congratulations. I’m a friend and former PT golf partner of your godfather, Ralph Hamm. I know all of the guys at PT are happy for you and so proud of the way you dealt with adversity yesterday and over the many yesterdays before that.
Best of luck for the rest of your career-may there be many to follow.
Hook ‘em

Harry,

WAY TO GO YOU AND TCU HOPE YOU DO WELL NEXT WEEK
Congratulations. I played with you in the Ginn Pro-am a couple of years ago in FL and I’m a member of the TPC Las Colinas. Couldn’t happen to a nicer person. Warm regards.
Congrats on a great win!!! All of us at the local club in North Louisiana were glued to the set cheering you on. Way to hang, remain cool, and become victorious. Very deserving win to a most respected professional.
I am a volunteer salesman for the FESJC and met you on the 18th green at the awards ceremony. You are a class act and I am so happy you are our champion. Congratulations and we all look forward to seeing you next year as our defending champion.
Congratulations.
We are waiting for another one….
Congratulations on your first win and thanks so much for coming to Memphis to play and support the tournament.
In Christian circles much of life is overcoming the natural man. Success in golf relies on overcoming the natural tendencies and sometimes getting out of your own way. Life’s success is also not measured in trophies, my hat is off because you hung in there when it didn’t seem like your moment would ever come. Take care, you’ve always been a champion, ask your family if you don’t believe me.
BC
Congrats on your victory. I watched the whole round. I was concerned when you hit left on 18 in regulation. Please allow for a little more room if you are in that situation again. This victory is justice since that was a bummer having to win a little over $400k in your next two tournaments. Now you can go for more wins without being concerned about keeping your card. The PGA is way too strict on a player when they have to take off due to a medical condition or injury. Now go win the US open. You can do it!!
harrison, after you carded a 59 at pga west i knew you would be there some day. your game is incredible and your perseverence is even more impressive. enjoy this one with your family, you all deserve the fruits of your labor. congratulations and we will be pulling for you in next years masters! castaic golfer!
Great job, great win, for a great guy. It’s nice to see a truly nice guy come out on top.
You can’t imagine how many times I have followed you on pgatour.com -shotlink. This past weekend overwhelmed me with how well you played ( excpet for the first four holes). The sky is the limit now.- Congratlations my freind! The next fly fishing trip is on me !
Harrison,
I played a pro-am with you at Westchester back in 2005 and have been a fan ever since. You were so gracious to all of us that played with you. Congrats on finally breaking through – you deserve it. Best of luck in the Open and next year at the Masters!
Way to Go Harrison!!!!!!! So Happy for You and Your Family!!!! Now lets get another one!!
