  • Jonathan - http://www.facebook.com/NOW.HIRING.JOBS

    John Daly – if he’s sober enough….

Chez Reavie – its about time…

Knost or Camilo for my sleepers…

  • steph logue

Got to be phil followed by webb simpson and andres romero.

  • hao

IAM GOING FOR POSSIBLY AMERICAS NEXT MAJOR WINNER[WHILE TIGERS OUT] GARY WOODLAND,WITH A TALENTED CHOKER GARCIA ,AND MUMMY’S BOY F,I,G,J,A,M. MICHELSON THIRD.

  • Thomas

Going with Scott Piercy this week.

  • Al from Australia

With the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and
and the U.S PGA coming up in the next (2)
weeks, I believe that the “top players”
will be using the Greenbrier to get their
game in top shape for the upcoming events.
I am NOT saying one of the top players WONT
WIN. I am saying that there COULD BE a
    surprise result.

  • chris

    Always Daly….

  • mp

    1. W. Simpson
    2. C Howell
    3. J Senden

  • Wen

thats what i like al, you covered everyone your a genious.

  • Jim from Saskatchewan

    Matt McQuillan…..
Would really love to see him break thru….

  • juan luna

    Gay, Flesch & Couch!

  • Birdie Man

How about Byrd, Herron or Goosen?

  • Birdie Man

    Or, Gay, Love, Flesch…

  • Wonder

Davis Love III, Sergio III, Charles Howell III

  • JJ

After yet another miserable failure last week (darned Canadians and their ridiculous rough), this column is on it’s last legs. Subscriptions are down to less than two, and that’s only because he likes to have a laugh at my selections. Never mind, onwards and upwards with this weeks value bets

Cameron Tringale – keeps doing just enough to keep me interested.
Woody Austin – 3 good weeks in a row. If his body doesn’t give in, he might make it into the top 5 this week.
Troy Matteson – playing well. Will win soon. Probably after I’ve ditched him.
Tommy Gainey – it it wasn’t for a 77 in round 1 last week, he would have been very close to the top. In fact, if it was a 65 instead of a 77 he would have won easily.
Greg Chalmers – playing consistently. An Aussie won last year, ergo….
Aron Price – 3 good rounds in Canada before his ass went and he shot an 80 in the 4th. A graduate of the Rickie Fowler school of no bottle? Perhaps, but worth a small investment.

Good luck and best wishes from all in England.

  • Schaef

Wonder, What about Thurston Howell III?!?! Phil is ALWAYS the man

  • Goyo Smith from Vancouver

Adam Hadwin (he looked poised last week), Sergio, or Phil

  • Steven

    Brett Wetterich!

  • Kathleen McConnell

OK Brandt Snedecker is in the field but he doesn’t have a tee time. Is he in or not???

  • John

    Tommy Gainey.

  • Paul Campbell

    John Daley

  • johnson

    Adam Hadwin

  • Golf Angel

    WIN Phil Mickelson!! God Bless!!!

  • Gu

Sneds withdrew Kathleen, so with that look For Charles Howell III to go ahead and get a long overdue win, or for Jeff Overton to get a little Redemption from Appleby’s final round 59 of last year!!

  • gustavo

Camilo, last chance to save the year, can you do it?, at list to stay safe within the 125 for fedex cup,try harder and forget about being a star, be a humble player who needs to save the skin.good luck!!!

  • raleigh

    webb simpson

  • Ghostface

Jerry Green is the biggest choke artist he will never win. I had money on him last week; he was tied for 5th going into the weekend and then he completely lays an egg. He is just not mentally tough and he just doesn’t have a winners mentality. Take him off your sleeper pick, he is a born loser. Sorry Jerry but you suck bro.

  • Soe

    hope sergio wins or villegas

  • Ian Army

Its time that Marc Leishman took the next step.
He has done well in the past and is about due to hit a good streak. Everyone has gone off him, but I think he can suprise. Go Aussie!!!

  • dani

    Andrés Romero.

  • paulie

    Ryan Palmer, Phil , Retief

  • Scott

The obvious choice seems to be phil but I like the way Daly has been playing. I think Mr. Watson will have a good showing too.

  • Frenchie

    DL III

  • JJ

Why do my posts keep getting pulled? Is there a law against calling golden boy Fowler an overated choker?

  • Lee

    1. Phil Mickelson
    2. Webb Simpson
    3. Sergio Garcia
    4. Brandt Snedeker
    5. Spencer Levin

  • jorge elmudesi

    phil
    sergio
    villegas

  • Hank DePerro

Phil will likely be working on his game for the PGA, but will still be a contender. My other golfers to contend are Davis Love III, who has been very consistent the last few months but misses too many putts in his range, and Ricky Barnes, who is on the rise.

  • 20yearsontour

    Gary Woodland,
    whats with all
    these “multiple”
    picks boys?
    Stick your freekin
    neck out and pick
    one, scared dogs
    don’t hunt!!! Are
    you a scared dog?

  • Redgolfer

    Phil Mickelson
    Brent Snedeker
    Retief Goosen
    Gary Woodlan

  • Dan

I gotta go with Brett Wetterich. He is due.

  • little bobby

    Kyle Stanley

  • RC

Well if Sneds DID withdraw, then one of the guys on “The Morning Drive Show” on the Golf Channel will have a lot of egg on his face since he picked him to win!

He’s my first choice too. But if he doesn’t take home the bacon, then maybe Long John will. Now wouldn’t that make people momentarily forget about the woes of Tiger?

  • Anthony Distler

You know what? I’m taking a long shot flyer here. Richard S. Johnson.

  • Grant

Spencer Levin gets it done all four rounds this week to break through. This course plays to his strengths.

  • acf

    1 C Tringale

  • Mike Onofryton

    Byrd is the word!!!!!

  • acf

Also Troy Matteson is hot Good Luck

  • eric

Definitely a good week to be Phil.

  • doug

Woody Austin has been playing very well i believe he can win this one! Patience and Good Temperment this one’s locked up. Remember Jesus Christ is Lord!

  • Ross

    Serg!

  • JEV

    Tringale “Seve”

  • Bill Bowman Jr

Two Gloves. He’s playing well. He’s Due

  • Pat

Going with Scott Piercy. T6 at Canadian Open, was T18 at Viking Classic.
Been playing consistent and really well.

  • j barnes

doug…i,m with you mate w a to win….c h 111 to be in the frame

  • Bill Bagshaw

    Phil Mickelson
    Sergio Garcia
    Camilo Villegas
    John Daly
    Sleeper: Tommy Gainey

  • Jimmy K

    Hello USA, Ireland calling.

Webb Simpson to break his duck and Anders Romero to chase him home. Oh and Chris Wood for his maiden tour win at Irish Open. And Captain Cee Bee for the Galway Hurdle tomorrow!!

  • goja57

Sergio in a playoff over Overton.
    Darkhorse: Ricky Barnes.
    Feel good winner: DLIII.

  • AWA Pilot

Chez reavie is playing well. Hit a few putts.

  • Clark Blythe

I think Adam Hadwin will become the next great Canadian Golfer. He will be Canada’s next major champion. Any Canadian that can withstand the pressure of their own Open Championship, with limited experience, is a Canadian who can win Major Championships. Watch out! The Adam bomb has been released.

  • ron

couch will win if he he has fewer bogeys.

  • gmart

I THINK PHIL WILL PULL THIS OUT, BUT CHECK OUT #6 ON THE EXPERT SLEEPER PICKS. IS CARLIE WI EVEN PLAYING. WHAT A JACKWAGON! THIS FOOL MAKES $$$ AT THIS? SHOULD BE A POLITICIAN. HELL OF A SLEEPER WHEN THE GUY ISN’T PLAYING. IDIOT. THIS SITE IS WEAK.

  • peter miller

i’ll go phil as a favorite , andres romero as a contender and kyle stanley as the darkhorse.

  • dax daseco

THE GUY TO WATCH ON!!! . . .TOM WATSON !!!

  • c winchell

I would love to see JD make a run! Golf needs him to start contending on a regular basis, he is without question one of the most popular players in the game and the talent is still there.

  • JJ

After yet another miserable failure last week (darned Canadians and their ridiculous rough), this column is on it’s last legs. Subscriptions are down to less than two, and that’s only because he likes to have a laugh at my selections. Never mind, onwards and upwards with this weeks value bets

Greg Chalmers – playing consistently. An Aussie won last year, ergo….
Aron Price – 3 good rounds in Canada before collaping and shooting an 80 in the 4th. A graduate of the Rickie Fowler school of no bottle? Perhaps, but worth a small investment.

Good luck and best wishes from all in England.

  • Chuck

    Lee Janzen

  • Stephen Ussher

    Pick: Gary Woodland
Sleeper: Billy McGirt (yeah you read right!!)

  • KurtG

I think it will be Chris Kirk to win this year.

    Sleeper is Camillo Vigages (spelling?)

  • mark portonova

Brian gay, Kyle Stanley, Kenny Perry. Brian has not put four solid rounds together this year, maybe his week if GIR are solid.

  • susan

A great putter, finally getting it together in the last 3 tournies – the dark horse, Matt Mcquillen

  • vektors

Mickelson, Love III, De Jonge, Garcia and wouldn’t be surprised to see Woody Austin do well.

  • RBennett

    Sergio Garcia

  • Cale

Jeff Overton, Spencer Levin, Charles Howell III, J.B. Holmes

  • Steve

    Ryuji Imada.

    Dean Wilson.

    Chucky Howell the third.

  • Nick

    AK.

good week, bad week, good week.

    he’s due.

  • Paul

If it rains and the wind blows, get ready for a Watson show. Regardless of what happens, nice to see him in the field. He still has game.

  • randy jansen

If ak makes the cut its a good week, he cannot hit a fairway.

    My winner is jb holmes

    Sleeper is De Jonge

  • Jack Jensen

Jeff Overton. It is his turn to win one.

  • terry

    gotta be…villegas gay woodland

  • Tony from Oz land

Spencer Levin looks a class act just ahead of Tommy Gainey puts 4 rounds together will blow them away. Big watch on the sleeping giant J.B Holmes the big fella is due to go close.

  • Tony from Oz land

My pick Spencer Levin with T10 chances to Tommy Gainey and J.B Holmes.
