| Boo Weekley Paul Goydos Kevin Na |
Rd. 1: 11:17 a.m. ET (1st) Rd. 2: 4:17 p.m. ET (10th |
Goydos offers accuracy off the tee (21st on TOUR); Weekley offers great iron play (6th in GIR); and Na is a putting wizard (6th in Strokes Gained-Putting). |
| Rocco Mediate Matt Bettencourt Jason Bohn |
Rd. 1: 10:44 a.m. ET (10th) Rd. 2: 3:44 p.m. ET (1st) |
Bettencourt, the defending champion, has just two top-10 finishes in 24 starts this year. Perhaps Montreux will be kind to him again. |
| Tom Pernice Jr. Steve Elkington Paul Stankowski |
Rd. 1: 3:22 p.m. ET (1st) Rd. 2: 10:22 a.m. ET (10th) |

| Robert Garrigus Derek Lamely Nathan Green |
Rd. 1: 3:44 p.m. (1st) Rd. 2: 10:44 a.m. ET (10th) |
Garrigus was the second-round leader here last year and of course he bashes the ball a mile, ranking third on TOUR in driving distance |
| John Daly Rich Beem Jose Maria Olazabal |

* Reno is on Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)
Call me crazy but Matt Jones who has missed 7 cuts in a row will be a major factor this week.
Your right……..you are crazy.
My money is on Bud Cauley pulling off a top 3 finish! The kid is slowly progressing into a player you cannot take forgranted…
Oh yeah…he is from good genes!
jay williamson is due for a good week
I hope that Joe Ogilvy keeps up his slow but steady climb upward
-vie. Sorry, Joe
Kevie Na is due for a cracker!!! And this will be the tournament. Will be slow to start but will fly home and win by 3 shots.
I’d pick one with local ties – Scott McCarron or Baby Walrus.
This is Rocco’s comeback week. I can feel it!
With most of the top players in the W.G.C. this week it opens it up for lower ranked players. Brian Davis could have a good week but my selection is Kevin Na. A good percentage of greens in regulation and just let his putting do the talking.
A Top 5 for Olazabal is on the way. He always starts performing better after a couple of consecutive weeks playing.
Looking for great showing from Bud Cauley
My money is on Joe Durant. 1st in driving, 3rd in closest to pin. He week.
Watch out for Vaughn Taylor, 2 time winner here..coming in under the radar, could be a factor
Hunter Haas bags his 1st PGATour win!
In reviewing the comments, I find it interesting, that one name is or has been totaly ignored. That person is David Duval. I hve every confidence, that this is his time, to start his eventual comeback into the limelight of those that have forgotten his abilities.
Time for an Aussie win….. Bowditch
Let’s hope it is Duval’s week. Would be nice to see a guy down on his luck that all started with major health problems turn it around.
Winner: Lee Janzen
Contender: Scott Piercy
Dark Horse: David Mathis
I think John Daly is showing some promise after finishing 9th in the last tourney and has been putting better and hitting the big stick in the fairway a lot more. He is going to be able to kill the ball with the altitude they are at, he will be hitting between 330-350 yards off the tee and this course is made for bombers, so watch out for Daly?
Olazábal is back! All those who love the game support you. Go, Ollie, go!
Good to see Olazabal back on TOUR again. As for the win Chez Reavie would be my pick this week.
Like to see some serious golf from John Daly
