Congratulate Johnson Wagner
PGA TOUR Player of the Month
Fueled by his win at the the Sony Open in Hawaii, Johnson Wagner has been named PGA TOUR Player of the Month presented by Avis based on PGATOUR.COM fan voting.
Johnson Wagner is the first player to be honored with the PGA TOUR Player of the Month presented by Avis. It’s the first time the monthly winner has been chosen by fans.

Congrats to Johnson Wagner! This was an easy “vote” because Johnson simply posted the best results in the month, yet 48% of fans used the process as a popularity poll. “I like Strick, so he’s the PLAYER of the month”??? Perhaps the site and AVIS could assist in clarifying the intent of the program.

Congrats on a great year so far. Played golf with your brother at Garrison around ’99 when I worked there w/ him….way to represent Garrison/West Point!

Congratulations. Always great to see a regular PGA Tour Player win an award like this. Nice to see a profgessional be respectful of themselves and their fellow PGA Tour members. Some seem to have a difficult time with this aspect of being a professional (i.e. Tiger Woods). He may be wealthy and halps make others on Tour wealthy, but that wealth stops at the checkbook for him. Great players are not necessarily great professionals. Firtuntalye for the Tour, MOST great players are great people, but not all.
